Canvas' Be The Good Community Service to GRACE Rides

Canvas’ Florida employees put together a community service project for GRACE Rides that took place on October 1st, 2022 in Defuniak Springs, Florida. The Canvas team cleared fence lines, trimmed bushes, and weeded the butterfly garden.

Steve Hall, husband to GRACE Rides Executive Director Sherry Hall, stated “The weekend was a whirlwind of good and beautiful things for us. But the high point…was the visit from the Canvas team…It was nearabouts perfect from start to finish.”

Grace Rides was started in 2008 with a small core of volunteers at an equestrian facility in Niceville, Florida. They have since built their own 9,000-sqft equestrian facility to serve more people and improve the lives of many. The mission of GRACE rides is to provide a quality environment and program for extending the benefits of equine-assisted activities and therapies to individuals with special needs (physical, cognitive, and/or emotional) in a loving community to improve the lives of each program participant, their family members, our service horses, and every volunteer.

“Canvas believes in giving back to the communities where our employees live and work,” Canvas Vice President, Mally Cash stated. “It was a privilege to spend the day working around the GRACE Rides facility and getting to know their staff. We are grateful to be part of this community and help this incredible business and look forward to our next visit.”
